Legal bases for processing

Depending on the circumstances, we process your personal information on one or more of the following legal bases:

Steps taken at your request before entering into a contract

This applies when you ask about availability, submit a reservation request or provide information needed to prepare a possible booking.

Performance of a contract

This applies when processing is necessary to administer a confirmed reservation or provide the services you have booked.

Legitimate interests

We may process information where reasonably necessary to respond to general enquiries, maintain our records, secure and operate the website or improve our services, provided that those interests do not override your rights and freedoms.

Legal obligations

Certain information must be retained or processed to comply with accounting, tax and other legal requirements.

Consent

Where required, we rely on your consent before placing non-essential cookies or using analytics technologies. You may withdraw or change that consent at any time through the website’s cookie settings.

Contact forms and email

Information submitted through the contact form is used only to read, manage and respond to your message and, where relevant, to take steps at your request in relation to a possible reservation.

Messages sent directly by email are processed in the same way.

Please do not include confidential, financial or sensitive personal information in a general enquiry unless it is necessary for us to deal with your request.

External Google reservation form

The reservation request form is hosted by Google and opens on an external website. Information you enter in the form is made available to LES KASTELIADES so that we can assess and respond to your reservation request.

Google may also process technical and usage information relating to your access to its services in accordance with its own privacy policy and terms. We encourage you to review Google’s privacy information before submitting the form.

Analytics information helps us evaluate website performance and improve its structure and content.

Where analytics requires the use of non-essential cookies or similar technologies, those tools are activated only after you have given your consent through the cookie banner.

You can withdraw or change your consent at any time through the cookie settings available on the website. Further information about the cookies and analytics technologies used is provided in our Cookie policy.

International data transfers

Some of our service providers, including Wix and Google, operate internationally. Personal information may therefore be processed in countries outside France or the European Economic Area.

Where such transfers take place, they must be protected by an appropriate legal mechanism, such as an adequacy decision, standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission or another safeguard recognised under applicable data-protection law.

Further information about the safeguards used by Wix and Google is available in their respective privacy policies.

How long we keep your information

We retain personal information only for as long as it is reasonably required for the purpose for which it was collected and to meet our legal obligations.
