Château de Burnand

The owner has created a dreamlike place at Chateau de Burnand. Everything is perfect. The Chateau, the rooms, the pool and the garden. The surroundings and the region, the service . We spent a wonderful week there with our friends. And we are happy to come back next year!

Christophe, Montsymond was our home for a week and what an amazing home it was! We enjoyed every room in/out of the chateau and laughed, danced, played and connected. Your chateau was the setting for beautiful reunions and making new connections! Merci beaucoup!

Absolutely wonderful and an amazing experience! Christophe and his family are great to work with and the communication was impeccable. I highly recommend staying here. Each room is uniquely beautiful and the area is gorgeous. My entire family loved our week and didn’t want to leave. We also hired Chef Agnes four of our nights and was delicious. Book this trip of a lifetime!!

We had the most amazing week at the Chateau, the pool, the poker room, the table tennis, & pétanque were all very well used & appreciated. We had an amazing meal cooked by Chef Agnes which was spectacular. The chateau & the grounds were the perfect location for our family celebration. We hope to return!

A magnificent home away from home. Brilliantly modernized retaining old world charm. Amazing kitchen, spa and work out room, heated and covered pool etc, ping pond, mini golf, bicycles, etc.
The best part is the proprietor who is there for any need immediately.

Château de Montrevost

The Chateau exceeded our expectations. It was wonderful to spend a week in the sunshine living like royalty! The kitchen had pretty much everything we needed, and we were able to cook some marvelous food.
Late nights in the card room and playing pool. The mini golf was very challenging I took 23 shots on one of the holes. We never got the opportunity to eat in the dining room as the weather was so lovely. In fact, I am not sure I got to see most of the Chateau! We are already thinking of a return visit in the next couple of years although it may be Chateau de Burnard next time.

Dear Sylvia, Christophe and Family,
We had a very warm welcome and enjoyed very much the history and explanations of the castle. It is very luxurious and has a very well equiped kitchen. Everything you could think of was available. The château is very well restored. We had a wonderful week here with our family of 7/8. The estate has it's own trails to walk and it was very quiet / restful. You could only hear the birds and bees. Thank you very much we could enjoy your château and in the future we hope to come back here or at one of the other châteaux.

Dear Christophe, we have had a fabulous holiday in your incredible château. All family members from 3 generations have loved every minute. This place is truly special and has created many special memories. The facilities are superb. The pool, poker room, and pool room were particularly well used by all ages. It was our pleasure to stay here and we hope to return some day. Thanks for your time at the wine tasting; your wine collection is amazing and all 8 of us thoroughly enjoyed your educational chat. The Chateau de Burnand is magnificent! The views are spectacular — rolling hills and gorgeous scenery. There are hiking trails all around the chateau just steps from the chateau. The swimming pool is a great place to relax and enjoy the views … This place is magical…

What a wonderful place to spend a week! the grounds, the pool, the games rooms are all amazing and were very well used. The kitchen and entertaining facilities are perfect for large groups – all 14 of us have loved our stay. We would certainly recommend… C’était magnifique!

Thank you for a fantastic week in this wonderful castle. Everyone has enjoyed the stay and all the facilities in this beautiful place. We have prepared our meals in the large kitchen, and we were able to eat outside under the big tree by the pool.
We will surely recommend this place to everyone. 

Château de Montrevost

Quel privilège d’avoir pu inaugurer ce superbe domaine. Un accueil chaleureux qui nous permet de prendre facilement « possession » des lieux. Une parenthèse hors du temps fortement appréciée de 11 à 79 ans. La piscine couverte un vrai +, le billard une splendeur ! Côté commerces, fromagerie et poissonnerie sur le marché le mardi sont super, les commerçants du village sympathiques. A Tournus le verger de l’abbaye a fait notre délice.
Il va nous falloir revenir pour découvrir les autres demeures…

This was out third stay at a Kasteliades property and every one of them have exceeded expectations. Chateau du Burnand … with the lovely village of Saint-Gengoux-le -National nearby, and several hiking paths (a church from 1031? Just down the hill from the chateau) accessible from the house and all of its amenities, you should be in no hurry to leave … Christophe and Sylvia have once again done a masterful job with the restoration and outfitted the chateau well with aesthetically pleasing decor that befits the grand canvas of the home. As always, they were unfailingly pleasant, responsive and communicative throughout our stay. We’ll be back!

We spent a week with our family at Chateau Montrevost... and it was all we have dreamt of and we could have wished for. In one word, FANTASTIC! Like we say in The Netherlands "leven als God in Frankrijk"... and we sure did! And we can't wait to do it again!

Thank you!!! We’ve had the most excellent week, the Chateau had everything we’ve needed and wanted. From a fabulous kitchen, to games, to a princess tower. We really enjoyed visiting the caves, water park and local markets.
