For holidays together in beautiful Burgundy
Kasteliades offers three lovingly restored Châteaux in the wine country of southern Burgundy, France. Each is rented in its entirety as a self-catering holiday home for groups of families and friends.
Long lunches on the terrace, children in the pool, quiet mornings with a book, trips to the local market, bottles from the nearby vineyards, a swim, a sauna or a little time in the gym, and everyone gathering again around the table.
With spacious air-conditioned bedrooms, en-suite bathrooms, well-equipped kitchens, heated swimming pools and generous living areas, each Château gives you the space, freedom and sense of place for a wonderfully private holiday together.

‘‘
“We hope every stay gives what we love most about Burgundy — time around the table, great food, wonderful wine and beautiful places to discover — in a Château that is entirely their own for the week…”
Christophe, Sylvia, Antoine & Juliette Gay — Owners of the Kasteliades Châteaux

Meet the Châteaux
Each with a character of their own

Beautifully restored, easy to live in
Space to gather. Details that matter
Renovated to bring historic character and modern comfort together, each Château is a memorable setting for a holiday with family and friends. Original features, generous proportions and a real sense of place sit alongside spacious kitchens, en-suite bedrooms, a variety of living rooms and outdoor spaces made for great days together.
For the full story, see the individual Château pages.

Original character
Each Château has been carefully renovated by Christophe Gay and his family, with Sylvia bringing her eye to the interior decoration and a personal touch felt throughout. Their children, Antoine and Juliette, are now part of the continuing story.
Stone staircases, painted ceilings, original fireplaces, wood panelling and parquet floors have been preserved and brought back to life, while the houses have been carefully updated for modern stays. Historic, generous and full of character, each Château has warmth and a real sense of place.

In good company
Space to be together
A holiday at Kasteliades is about reuniting family and friends, with the freedom for everyone to enjoy the day in their own way. Then, as the day unfolds, the group naturally gathers again for the moments that matter.
Across generations
Planning to reunite the family?
A Kasteliades Château is a beautiful setting for grandparents, parents, children and cousins to be together again. Something special for every age, with time for everyone.
Among friends
Bringing friends together?
For friends, couples and families, a Château holiday means having a private place of your own. Exclusive use makes all the difference: your group, your Château, your holiday together.
Great for kids
Freedom to roam and have fun
Kids can explore, discover and disappear into their own Château adventures. With so much to do close at hand, they get the freedom they love — and the adults get a little breathing space too. Leaving will be the hard part!
Specialist groups
Planning a themed stay?
For tour organisers, our Châteaux offer an ideal base for a specialist travel programme. Wine, gastronomy, or Burgundy as a region — the theme is yours, the Château makes it work.
Please note that our Châteaux are not adapted to weddings, large events, organised parties, or student groups — we don't take bookings for these types of stay.
Our lovingly restored properties are intended for relaxed private holidays with family, friends and small specialist groups. Personal celebrations such as birthdays and anniversaries are naturally very welcome within your own stay.

Off the beaten track, well placed
Three Châteaux in southern Burgundy, France
Most people know Burgundy for its wine. Not everyone could point to it on a map. So, here it is. Our three Châteaux sit among small towns, working villages and open countryside, in a part of France that has never been shaped around tourism. Weekly markets and everyday life still set the pace, while vineyards, historic towns and places to visit are all within easy reach.
Southern Burgundy is straightforward to reach by road and rail. Our Travel guide brings together the main routes, airports, stations and practical information for planning your journey.

Burgundy beyond the gates
Wine, food, heritage and great days out
Southern Burgundy offers wine villages, local markets, Romanesque abbeys, quiet country lanes for cycling, canoe trips, horse riding, woodland walks, caves, waterfalls, medieval towns and guided tours through the vineyards — all close enough for a great change of scene from the Château.
For a taste of what this beautiful part of France has to offer, our Tourism guide brings together six sections covering wine, gastronomy, heritage, activities, natural sites and days out.
You’ll find the Tourism guide in the main menu at the top of the page.

“Words cannot describe how wonderful this entire stay was… It was a beautiful property, well maintained, and it was sad to leave. The only issue it created for us is the standard it has set for wherever we stay next.”
