A warm thank you to all our visitors from the world who took the time to write us a mail, or leave a word in our golden books. This trace of their stay with us in Burgundy will stay in our memories and their satisfaction is warming up our hearts.
Sometimes it was not easy or possible for me to understand the words left by hand writing in our golden books and I have not been able to copy words left in other languages than English or French. So I would like to tell the authors to excuse me for this.

We have absolutely loved our stay here. Ten adults and nine children under 5 and we have all been extremely well-catered for! Such a beautiful house and setting, and the boys thoroughly enjoyed your wine tasting. Thank you very much indeed. The pool was perfect for the kids !

I wanted to drop you a quick email to feedback our stay at Chateau de Lans. Thank you for allowing us to rent your fantastic and beautiful Chateau, we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and had an absolutely amazing time in Burgundy.
The property is wonderful, it couldn’t have been more perfect. The use of the pool in late October was unexpected and a real treat !

Tout juste rentrés du Château de Mercurey, nous tenions à vous remercier. Notre séjour s'est très bien déroulé et nous avons été ravis de nous retrouver en famille, pour fêter la nouvelle année.
En arrivant au château samedi, nous avons tous eu le sentiment de revenir chez nous ...

6 ans plus tard et nous voici de retour ! Encore une fois, un merveilleux séjour où chacun se sent à l'aise et chez soi dans ce magnifique environnement. La famille s'aggrandit avec Sophie (3ans) et Jonathan (5 mois). Dur dur de s'en aller...
Merci de nous avoir offert cette belle maison très confortable et bien équipée. A l'occasion de l'anniversaire de notre mère, la famille s'est déplacée de Zurich à Saunières pour passer un bon moment ensemble. Nous avons profité du beau temps pour découvrir Beaune, Cluny, le château de Cormatin, Louhans...etc. Le soir vous avons bien dîner en famille. A bientôt et merci beaucoup !
We were friends and family from Canada and Switzerland. The weather was hot and sunny everyday ! It was a perfect week in a perfect spot." Some highlights from our week :
- Cycling from Beaune to Chagny.
- Wine tastings.
- Climbing the hill to the Virgin Mary.
- Wonderful meals that lasted until midnight.
- Road trips to find Châteaux & Chapels.
- Picking cherries from the poolside tree.
- Creating lasting memories and planning our reunion dinner.
The views from the Château were magnificiant and the whole place is nicely decorated and very comfortable.
"L'essentiel est invisible pour les yeux, on ne voit bien qu'avec le coeur". Saint Exupéry. Ce fût une semaine placée sous le signe de Saint Exupéry et celà grâce à la famille Moirand (nos hotes) mais également à Christophe et à ses nombreuses bonnes idées! Quel bel endroit! Que de gens sympas, pros et avec ce supplément d'âme qui caractérise la famille Moirand & Christophe. Merci également aux Chefs Patrick et Thomas qui ont mis les points sur les "i" de tous nos repas. Pour tout cela un grand merci du fond du coeur.
"Take a 60th birthday "girl", her husband, two cousins and spouses, and few friends of antipodean and British origin... And good weather, and a kitchen able to cope with lots of good cooks and "elves"! Result : A week to remember for all of us ! Thank you Sylvia, Christophe and the team."
