A warm thank you to all our visitors from the world who took the time to write us a mail, or leave a word in our golden books. This trace of their stay with us in Burgundy will stay in our memories and their satisfaction is warming up our hearts.
Sometimes it was not easy or possible for me to understand the words left by hand writing in our golden books and I have not been able to copy words left in other languages than English or French. So I would like to tell the authors to excuse me for this.
Thank you for such a lovely week. A magnificient yet perfectly sized Château for 2 families. Good weather and plenty to visit (Château de Couches, Beaune, Autun as well as the vineyards winetrip !). Thomas the chef gave us an inoubliable and fantastic evening. Emmanuel's guided wine tour was unforgettable and great fun. Thanks
We have all enjoyed an excellent week at Château de Lans. Lovely bedrooms and facilities and wonderful base for exploring the Burgundy countryside. Many Thanks !
This has been a terrific week...plenty of good food, good wine, beautiful scenery. The route des grands crus is a fabulous way to spend a day. Cheers !
A Wonderful week in this beautiful château de Lans. Good friends, good wine, good cheese, good break...will remember this forever !
THANK YOU for a most memorable stay at a wonderul, beautiful, chateau de Lans. Our families (a reunion) from Germany, France, England and America declare Chateau de Lans to be the best of the best. Even better than the site picures describe . The area was lovely, the rooms fantastic, the pool area excellent and your recommendation for a chef and Traiteur most helpful. We salute your wife for her marvelous decorating. Look for us to be returning. WE RECOMMEND CHATEAU DE LANS HIGHLY
Dear Sylvia and Christophe,
It is now about two weeks from our visit, but never too late to thank you for the wonderful time, we spent in France and in your chateau.
Our group (now 10 persons) is a group of friends, cousins and other relatives.
Our group (unofficial name SEPE TOURS) has been doing similar trips for 12 years (once or twice per year). Our first chateau visit was thus 12 years ago and we visited Chateau du Ludaix also in the "middle of nowhere" in France.
Then we had a bit bigger team visiting France (18). Since that we have visited Italy and Spain a few times, Mosel wine area in Germany and even Scotland a couple of years ago.
So far we have been lucky in our selections of chateau or manor house. And - yes - our good luck continued and our expectations were exceeded during our stay.
I am not complaining the relatively modest weather. Maybe it was a good thing, so that we had more time to travel around the small villlages, cities, wine yards etc.
So thank you again and good luck to your activitiies and hobbies (= wine)!
Best regards from all of us
Thank you for sharing your wonderful château! We enjoyed every minute of our stay.
We all had a delightful stay. Couldn't ask for more. Thank you Christophe.
