You have done an amazing job on the property, I think everyone could appreciate the effort and care that has gone into the restoration.

The bedrooms were all great, some really nice unique touches with the bathrooms in the turret rooms, curtains were nice and thick ensuring good night's rest. The beds were very comfortable as well as the bedding. The communal dining and sitting areas didn't get much use, but that's because we ate outside most days on the stunning patio. The kitchen was incredibly well thought out (and stylish), I'll be making sure I have two dishwashers in my future home! The only niggle would be maybe more large wine glasses. But that's being picky. The addition of kids plates and cutlery were very useful.

The poker room, gym, sauna and pool room all saw plenty of action, a game of poker by a roaring fire was a highlight! A few people took the bikes out for a few day trips (again baby seats and helmets were great additions). Mini golf and table tennis enjoyed by all as well.

The pool area and patio seating were sublime, and we probably spent 80% of our time there! Was lovely to get all the babies in the water throughout the week. As well as a couple of games of volleyball (we left the net in a bag), a ball hand pump would be a good addition, we couldn't find any in the supermarket. Finally, a shout to chef Raphael and Dominque for a fantastic meal and some great massages. The Mercury wine in the chiller was lovely as well as the fantastic bottles that were waiting for us!

 I just wanted to drop you a quick line to let you know that we had a wonderful week at Chateau Montsymond last week, and to thank you for your kind hospitality. We very much appreciated your flexibility as the UK Government chopped and changed the rules! We hope to visit again in the future.
 The chateau is easily one of the finest we have stayed at (both in terms of setting, finishes and “liveability”). It is truly spectacular and a credit to you and your team.
 I wish you every success for the remainder of the season, and for the development of the new chateau.

C’est avec beaucoup de regret que nous quittons votre magnifique Château de Lans. Nous avons passé une semaine fantastique et inoubliable dans une ambiance chaleureuse et exceptionnelle grâce à cet endroit spacieux aménagé avec tant de goût où toutes les chambres ont leur propre charme.
 
9 adultes et 6 enfants (agés de 6 ans à 11 mois) ont passé des journées formidables dans la piscine, dans le parc à jouer au foot, au ping-pong, sur le trampoline, les balançoires, dans le salon, la salle à manger. Par beau temps le barbecue, et grâce aux beaux vélos chacun a pu faire des balades dans les alentours.
 
Nous vous remercions infiniment de votre hospitalité, et qui sait, reviendrons nous un jour…

Thank you Mike & Irene for organizing such a memorable few days here at Villa Saunières. We have enjoyed meeting up with old friends again. The wine tasting "chez Christophe" was most informative. Toma's diner was simply superb !

Lovely house, especially the comfy bedrooms and the superb pool, trampoline and other play facilities. We particularly enjoyed the massage and facials that Julie the beautician gave us on Tuesday. Also the wine tasting evening with François was great fun (the combination of good wine, François's english and our french kept everyone very happy !!).
Beaune is a good day out too. Many thanks for a good family holiday.

This has been a terrific week...plenty of good food, good wine, beautiful scenery. The route des grands crus is a fabulous way to spend a day. Cheers !

Thank you for a wonderful stay at Villa Saunières ! All twelve of us had a fantastic timein the pool, playing football + ping-pong + boules and grilling pizzas on the outdoor grill ! The villa was the perfect home base for all of our excursions, and we got a lot of useout of the bikes. We are thinking of installing our own steam room back home...
