Villa Saunières

We really felt in love with this cosy "Master House" on the riverside "Doubs". We have done a very high standard restoration in the same way as what we achieved with our other properties and Villa Saunières opened its doors on Saturday 28 may 2011.

High Class rental for 12 persons (6 bedrooms)

This ancient villa from the 19th century and its dependancy, have a total living surface of 540m2. The villa benefits from an exceptionnal location, in the heart of Southern Burgundy and at the doorstep of the Jura.

It is located in the small village of Saunières, just a few meters from the river "Doubs", where fishermen will enjoy themselves...

The small road along the river Doubs taking you to the Villa is a very "tranquil road", used by locals. There is no better place for those looking for a peacefull holiday with only birds songs as background music.

Villa Saunières offers 6 luxurious and spacious bedrooms with 6 « ensuite » bathrooms, fitness room, sauna, steam-room, « cosy » living-room with fireplace, dining-room and kitchen. The kitchen opens directly on the terrace of the swimming-pool which will enable lots of conviviality for your outside meals.

Happyness is in the Parc,

When entering the domain, protected by a nice old steal style gate, un spacious parking courtyard can welcome 6 to 8 cars.

On the side of the Villa, a pleasant courtyard will be the ideal place for "pétanque" amateurs.

In the Parc behind the villa you will find a spacious terrace and the 5X10m heated swimming pool. The 4.000 m2 of gardens with its 100 year old wallnut tree, will be a great place for children games.

Authentic and Comfortable

Living room, dining room and some bedrooms have kept their old tiles on the floor, their french style ceilings, their fireplaces..;dating back to the construction of the Villa.

The decoration and furnitures have been chosen with great care by Sylvia. you can expect again a great mariage between tradition and modernity.
