The owner has created a dreamlike place at Chateau de Burnand.
Everything is perfect. The Chateau, the rooms, the pool and the garden.The sorroundings and the region, the service . We spent a wonderful week there with our friends. And we are happy to come back next year !

 Thank you so much for allowing us the honor of being your first guests at Chateau du Burnand! This was out third stay at a Kasteliades property (we stayed at Lans and Montrevost previously) and every one of them have exceeded expectations. We explored the lovely villages of Saint Gengoux le National and Tournus, and took a boat cruise one morning out of La Truchere. We walked the several hiking paths (a church from 1031? just down the hill from the chateau) accessible from the house, swam in the pool, rode bikes, played petanque and enjoyed several meals, conversations and laughter under the magical veil provided by the Sycamore tree adjacent to the pool. The 2 refrigerators and 2 dishwashers, outdoor grill and a well-equipped kitchen made preparing meals for our larger group a breeze. And, as expected from previous visits, our custom wine tasting at Simard was once again a high point (for me). 
 
Christophe and Sylvia, you two have once again done a masterful job with the restoration and outfitted the chateau well with aesthetically pleasing decor that befits the grand canvas of the home. As always, your attention to detail, responsiveness and clear communication throughout our stay allowed us to rest easy and fully enjoy our week in the area. 
 
We can’t wait to return and try out one of the other chateaux!

Dear Christophe,
I have finally settled back in Berlin and am still coming to terms with what a magical time we all had at your incredible Chateau. We all feel as though we came out of a dream that can't have been real. Thank you so much for having us stay - I really can't put into words what a memorable experience it was to share with my closest family and friends for my 40th birthday. My niece is still dreaming of the lions, storks and purple flowers :). 
 The wine was also an absolute highlight - we ran our own little wine tasting so everyone got to try a bit of each one. It was really fun. 
 Every detail was great from the decoration to the softness of towels, the nature and landscaping, the pool, people were even commenting on how great all the cooking utensils were which made it so easy to cook really delicious meals. The list goes on and on! 

The best place to be ! We will come back as soon as we can ! We just loved it ! Thanks ! Amazing !

Quel privilège d’avoir pu inaugurer ce superbe domaine. Un accueil chaleureux qui nous permet de prendre facilement « possession » des lieux. Une parenthèse hors du temps fortement appréciée de 11 à 79 ans. La piscine couverte un vrai +, le billard une splendeur !
Côté commerces, fromagerie et poissonnerie sur le marché le mardi sont super, les commerçants du village sympathiques. A Tournus le verger de l’abbaye a fait notre délice.
Il va nous falloir revenir pour découvrir les autres demeures sous une météo plus clémente.

C’est dès 2011 que nous passons les vacances en famille pour 3 générations, 3 fois à la Villa Saunières, 2 fois au Château de Lans, et maintenant au Château de Montrevost, tout juste rénové. Chaque fois on est impressionnés par la qualité extraordinaire et le confort des propriétés Kasteliades, rien ne manque ! Christophe & Sylvia sont des hôtes parfaits, on est toujours l’esprit tranquille sachant qu’il y aura l’aide pour chaque problème petit ou grand. Tout ensemble, c’est la garantie de vacances relax et sans soucis. C’était un honneur d’être les seconds clients au Château de Montrevost, magnifique comme les Kasteliades sont toujours.  Un grand merci aussi à Dominique pour les massages fantastiques, c’était une belle expérience et je suis sûr de faire encore un rdv la prochaine fois !
On espère continuer la tradition de la famille et nous sommes contents de retourner en 2023 !

I wanted to drop you a note to let you know what a wonderful time we had at Montrevost.  You did an amazing job on the renovation and it exceeded all of our expectations!
 We loved Burgundy!  We visited Tournus, Annecy, Lyon, Dijon and Perouges.  As you know from our correspondence, the Covid situation made it a little bit of a challenge to travel internationally, but we are all glad that we did.
 Thank you so much for making this an unforgettable holiday!

You have done an amazing job on the property, I think everyone could appreciate the effort and care that has gone into the restoration.

The bedrooms were all great, some really nice unique touches with the bathrooms in the turret rooms, curtains were nice and thick ensuring good night's rest. The beds were very comfortable as well as the bedding. The communal dining and sitting areas didn't get much use, but that's because we ate outside most days on the stunning patio. The kitchen was incredibly well thought out (and stylish), I'll be making sure I have two dishwashers in my future home! The only niggle would be maybe more large wine glasses. But that's being picky. The addition of kids plates and cutlery were very useful.

The poker room, gym, sauna and pool room all saw plenty of action, a game of poker by a roaring fire was a highlight! A few people took the bikes out for a few day trips (again baby seats and helmets were great additions). Mini golf and table tennis enjoyed by all as well.

The pool area and patio seating were sublime, and we probably spent 80% of our time there! Was lovely to get all the babies in the water throughout the week. As well as a couple of games of volleyball (we left the net in a bag), a ball hand pump would be a good addition, we couldn't find any in the supermarket. Finally, a shout to chef Raphael and Dominque for a fantastic meal and some great massages. The Mercury wine in the chiller was lovely as well as the fantastic bottles that were waiting for us!
