From the moment we arrived at the villa, we fell in love with it and although we had seen photos on your website, once actually there it was amazing – you and Sylvia must a spent a lot of time and effort in making it comfortable with all the modern comforts as well as keeping its character. The children would have spent every day in the pool and playing in the massive grounds with everything from a trampoline, ball games and the swings. When we did visit the markets at Chalon-sur-Saone and Beaune and the surrounding countryside, we all enjoyed the atmosphere of the towns and of course samplying the
the fine restaurants.
As the holiday was for my delayed 70^th birthday, my son and daughter booked a chef for an evening meal and decorated the dining room table and room. The chef’s name was Agnes and apart from a delicious French meal with at least 5 courses, she was so warm and friendly and couldn’t do enough to make it a special night for us all.
 I was going to write in your visitors book with help from the grandchildren but ran out of time – I would certainly highly recommend others to stay at the villa and couldn’t find anything that we would have changed.
 

Christophe - just to let you know that all 13 of our party had a great week at Chateau de Mercurey.  The local area is very beautiful and this was helped by the warm weather we had.  We have been to France many times at that time of year and had never before been able to use the pool every day! We had a wonderful meal on the Wednesday from Chef Thomas and we also greatly enjoyed the take-away food from La Marmite de Caro.  We did lots of walking, cycling and tennis as well as lots of relaxing.  There was even a final bit of excitement on the last day with a terrific thunderstorm with amazing clouds and lightning!  We may well be back to stay at this or one of your other fine properties in the future!

All of our guests were blown away by the beauty of the property and surrounding area and we had an amazing week. Dear Christophe,
I have finally settled back in Berlin and am still coming to terms with what a magical time we all had at your incredible Chateau. We all feel as though we came out of a dream that can't have been real. Thank you so much for having us stay - I really can't put into words what a memorable experience it was to share with my closest family and friends for my 40th birthday. My niece is still dreaming of the lions, storks and purple flowers :). 
 The wine was also an absolute highlight - we ran our own little wine tasting so everyone got to try a bit of each one. It was really fun. 
 Every detail was great from the decoration to the softness of towels, the nature and landscaping, the pool, people were even commenting on how great all the cooking utensils were which made it so easy to cook really delicious meals. The list goes on and on! 

The best place to be ! We will come back as soon as we can ! We just loved it ! Thanks ! Amazing !

We really loved our stay at the Chateau de Lans in September 2021.  While the media in Canada focused relentlessly on the dangers and difficulties of international travel for Canadians, we found that not to be true.  It was quite easy to get around the French country-side visiting wineries, restaurants and cafes. (Note: apply for the French Government’s health pass before your visit)
 
The Chateau itself is a wonderful place on a huge piece of property and comes fully equipped.   We used all of the facilities at the chateau—sauna, steam room; work-out room and, most importantly the beautiful heated swimming pool.  We enjoyed most of our meals on the patio beside the pool.  
What we really liked was Christophe’s attention to detail.   The bedrooms were very comfortable and each room has its own bathroom.  Everything is there for the guest’s enjoyment including, for example, sufficient wine glasses for us to do comparisons on several bottles of wine from the burgundy region!  Christophe’s support staff are both courteous and helpful.
 
We were sad to leave this luxurious chateau with its relaxed and peaceful atmosphere and look forward to returning to this or one of Christophe's other properties.

C’est dès 2011 que nous passons les vacances en famille pour 3 générations, 3 fois à la Villa Saunières, 2 fois au Château de Lans, et maintenant au Château de Montrevost, tout juste rénové. Chaque fois on est impressionnés par la qualité extraordinaire et le confort des propriétés Kasteliades, rien ne manque ! Christophe & Sylvia sont des hôtes parfaits, on est toujours l’esprit tranquille sachant qu’il y aura l’aide pour chaque problème petit ou grand. Tout ensemble, c’est la garantie de vacances relax et sans soucis. C’était un honneur d’être les seconds clients au Château de Montrevost, magnifique comme les Kasteliades sont toujours.  Un grand merci aussi à Dominique pour les massages fantastiques, c’était une belle expérience et je suis sûr de faire encore un rdv la prochaine fois !
On espère continuer la tradition de la famille et nous sommes contents de retourner en 2023 !

Quel privilège d’avoir pu inaugurer ce superbe domaine. Un accueil chaleureux qui nous permet de prendre facilement « possession » des lieux. Une parenthèse hors du temps fortement appréciée de 11 à 79 ans. La piscine couverte un vrai +, le billard une splendeur !
Côté commerces, fromagerie et poissonnerie sur le marché le mardi sont super, les commerçants du village sympathiques. A Tournus le verger de l’abbaye a fait notre délice.
Il va nous falloir revenir pour découvrir les autres demeures sous une météo plus clémente.

I wanted to drop you a note to let you know what a wonderful time we had at Montrevost.  You did an amazing job on the renovation and it exceeded all of our expectations!
 We loved Burgundy!  We visited Tournus, Annecy, Lyon, Dijon and Perouges.  As you know from our correspondence, the Covid situation made it a little bit of a challenge to travel internationally, but we are all glad that we did.
 Thank you so much for making this an unforgettable holiday!
