François Raquillet is the neighbour of our Kasteliades property in Mercurey  and we are good friends.  Amongst the over 100 producers in Mercurey, François Raquillet’s wines  are some of my favorites.  François is a very friendly man and he is really invested into quality for his wine domain. Hundreds of my guests have visited his wine cellar these past years and have enjoyed the quality of his wines.According to the “Hachette Wine Guide”, François Raquillet is one of the best wine producers of the Mercurey area, he also has a good collection of wine fair medals and prizes from throughout France… A wide range of Mercurey (village and Premier crus) are available as well as a Rully White.

CHRISTOPHE's RECOMMENDED WINE PRODUCERS YOU CAN VISIT IN BURGUNDY:

O  Unfortunatly, most of the wine producers I buy wine from in Burgundy, whor are good friends, are on allocation (they don't sell to the public and don't welcome public) because their production is reserved for Michelin starred restaurants and some prestigious wine shops.

difI So I could only make a short selection of a few producers underneath where you will receive a good welcome if your present yourself as Kasteliades guests. It is safer to give a phone call or send a mail to announce that you would like to come for a wine tasting. The tastings are free of charge, but wine producers in general expect that you will buy some wine.

Unless otherwise specified. Please avoid Sundays and the time slot between and 12am and 2pm.
