Passion Cuisine Cooking School

Cooking Course and Diner with a prestigious Chef !

 Passion Cuisine is a well-known cooking school located in the village of Rully (near Chalon). It’s a very friendly concept where you prepare your own Gastronomic Menu under the supervision of a prestigious Chef and then you enjoy the Diner or Lunch in a relaxed atmosphere.   

 

What will you enjoy during this great Experience?

The Chef will teach you about some of his cooking and preparation tricks in a very friendly way. You will be equipped with apron, knives and all the individual equipment required for the course.

You will become a « confident » Chef by learning the different techniques (to be honest, when I had to translate this section in English language my ability reached its limits, so here it is in French J) : for example : blanchir, déglacer, mouiller, suer, pocher, saisir, émincer, découper en brunoise, mirepoix, julienne...

The kitchen is a professional kitchen like in a good quality restaurant. Once the course is finished the table in the middle of the Kitchen will be dressed and you will enjoy diner with what you have prepared.

Philippe the Chef and Jean-Pierre the wine Expert are a very friendly duo! Although Philipp’s English is not completely fluent he manages well to take care of foreign language speaking groups and Jean-Pierre helps ! Many of my Kasteliades guests from abroad, who did not speak a word of french, have enjoyed their cooking courses and said they had a great experience!

Philippe’ Profile :

Friendly and Pedagogue, Philippe Masson has worked in many prestigious Michelin starred kitchens.      Specialist in desserts – 25 years experience (trained by Pierre Hermé, Lenôtre, Ducasse…).

Former Chef with specialty in desserts (during 17 years)  from Jacques Lameloise, Michelin 3*.

Teacher at the TSUJI  school of Lyon and IRFOTEL school in Chagny.  

This is for 7 persons minimum and 12 persons maximum.
